Fall 2001 the greatest German STCCG Convention will take in Celle from November 23rd to 25th - the Grand Prix Con 2001!

Only about 40 kilometres northerly from the Expo city Hannover the idyllic old town of Celle will provide a fitting place for a three-day lasting event around the entire aspect of the Star Trek Customizable Card Game. Taking place in modern rooms of the local youth hostel near the inner city there will be many different formats of gaming - interesting scenarios, multiple sealeds and the main events of this convention: the Regional Team Championship and the second German STCCG Grand Prix!

When the first Grand Prix set a record for the largest German tournament ever with over 40 participants in the year 2000 an important fact for its success was the large amount of valuable prizes an a special ranking system which allowed also new players to get them. This year the Grand Prix will set new high levels for professional tournament play - a minimum of two boxes Reflections and several Decipher Tournament Foils will be given away and the first place of all participants will receive an exclusice designed binder with a complete set of 9 (nine) Tournament Foils worth ~$500,-!
With the help of different categories for all participating players everyone gets a chance to receive attractive prizes - as an example the first place of the following category will obtain a set of the limited Mirror Mirror Foils Alternate Universe Door & Bajoran Wormhole while the other categories will get an Assign Mission Specialists tournament foil or a set of the Blaze of Glory expansion!

While all players may compete individually at the Grand Prix they may compete in a team at the Regional Team Championship the day before. Starting in teams consisting of 3 to 4 members they will get a chance to win the top prize of one box Reflections inclusive all four box-topper foils for the whole team!

In adition to these highlights there will be several other tournaments but also time for relaxing and visiting Celle's old town. So everybody will really enjoy this unique event!

The player categories at the Grand Prix itself:
Professional 1600 and more points in the Decipher Constructed Rating The players' selection in four different categories at the Grand Prix is to allow all participants a fair chance to win high level prizes.

Although the first place of all will receive an extremely worthful prize there will be different rankings for every category meaning each of them will have a first place, a second place and so on...
This way even an absolute beginner has the possibility to get a top prize as the professional players have!
Advanced 1450 and more points in the Decipher Constructed Rating
Intermediate below 1450 points in the Decipher Constructed Rating
Beginner participated at no more than 15 games in the Decipher Constructed Rating
